Greens Report December 2025

            COURSE REPORT – DECEMBER 2025

The course is in great shape with greens having been rolled at least three times per week, and this has made a huge difference since last month.

All greens have been fertilised and fungicide applied, and more areas throughout the course were sprayed for weeds. Am waiting on a little more rain before spraying fertiliser to all fairways and green surrounds, hopefully at the end of the month.

We had a quick storm come through this month, and the boys did an amazing job at getting the course back in action after just two days, with chainsaw work and countless ute loads of branches and debris. Was also one larger tree that came down on the 13th hole, and the arborist cleaned that up for us. All bunkers were weeded and trimmed and back in play after the storm washout.

A new hole changer was purchased.

The steps on the 9th tee are rotting away, and the team is currently working to replace them.

Tees were fertilised this week.

All machines have been serviced this month.

It has been a challenging but also a positive year on the course.

A new machinery shed was built and the power upgrade completed throughout winter, and we have improved equipment and machines.

We’ve gone from wet to dry and at the worst times possible, including post renovations which led to a longer recovery.

On behalf of the greens staff, I would like to thank everyone for their patience through those periods and hopefully enjoy some summer golf at our fun and challenging course now that the greens are in much better condition.

Next year our main focus on the course will be improvement of tee areas. As previously mentioned, our irrigation system needs to be upgraded before works can begin on these areas, and I will keep everyone updated throughout with reports.

A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

ANDY BOSWELL – COURSE SUPERINTENDENT
