Tyron Blinco and Troy McDonald have taken out the 2025 Men’s 4Ball Match Play Championship.
On their way to victory they took down some of the clubs most experienced and seasoned match play campaigners.
Round 1 – saw them defeat Club Captain Brett Maunder and long-time pennant representative Steve Trotter – 1up
Round 2 – the took on 2024 B Grade Champion Jayden Francis and Tom Munro in a match that went all the way to the 19th
Semi Final – pitted them against seasoned pennant representatives Peter Rogers and Brad Hammond and once again they came out on top – 3 & 2
The Final – a hard fought affair saw them take down 3 time club champion Daniel Cahill and partner Chris Jones who themselves had had some pretty dominant wins leading up to the final.
In the end there can only be one winner(s) – Congratulations Tyron and Troy.
A few celebratory beers were sure to be had on the balcony that afternoon.
