July 2024 – Superintendents Report
Another good dry month for the course, greens are healthy especially with the shade problem this time of year.
We had the air2g2 aeration machine punch holes to all greens last week, this is done once a year in between renovations.
All fairways and green surrounds have been fertilised.
All hazard line marking done with a trial of different paint, looks better.
The boys have cleaned up the Everglades area.
All rough mowing completed.
We have still rested some tees with having markers just in front temporarily to help with the minimal grass coverage, they have improved while rested along with hand watering we will move the markers back to plate areas next week.
All bunkers have been trimmed, weeded.
We had big power issues to the machinery shed, fallen trees etc.
This has been resolved fixed, with cleaning up fallen trees and lifting the power cable.
Heading towards next month we will start the new tee signs for the back 9 and will be fully completed by the end of next month .
