The Men’s Masters (over 50’s) Pennant Team has climbed to the top of Sunshine Coast Pennant Competition with a hard fought victory over Noosa Spring on their home track in the season final.
The heavily favoured Noosa Springs outfit not only had home ground advantage on their side but also a history of having won 4 of the last 7 titles in the Masters Division.
With scores level at 3 a piece Captain Peter Rogers’ match was all square after regular play (after making par from the penalty area), heading to the 19th to decide the match, Rogers made another par to take the win and the title.
