What did the Pro shop have to do with this?? Read on to find out how your local golf Pro can change your golfing life!!
CAN A NEW SET OF CLUBS IMPROVE MY GAME That answer isn’t so black and white. Many factors contribute to the results that a new set of clubs can produce. It is important to consider what head design is best for YOU. What shaft suits YOU. The lie angle that suits the way YOU swing the golf club, are the grips suited to YOU, and the most important thing….do YOU want to improve?Barry and Vicki Reilly were unfortunately the victims of a break and enter which resulted in the theft of all of their collective golf equipment. They came to us with an open mind and were willing to discuss their needs which included preferences for club design, set make up (woods hybrids and irons,) golfing goals and aspirations. Most importantly because we were able to lend them each a set of clubs they were able to take their time with this decision, and use the opportunity to try a number different irons and custom fitting sessions to find the right combinations. We undertook a series of swing analysis and club testing and came up with the best performers.

Vicki put a lot of work into her game in all aspects. We made some pretty major changes to the way she addressed the ball, how she took the club away from the ball and impact positions. We changed her putting stroke slightly but mainly worked with thought processes and confidence cycles and rhythm. Vicki practiced and battled through the negative thoughts that plague swing changes and learned how to turn them into positives. Vicki has achieved some tremendous results over the past couple of months including taking out this year's Saturday ladies' club championship in her golfing the plan that we set and their commitment to their individual plans results soon followed.
Barry now had a set of clubs that actually suited the way he attacked the ball and now found that some overcompensations that he had been doing before were now longer needed and overcoming some confidence and rythym issues saw Barry become the 2012 B Grade Champion. Barry's Handicap has dropped six shots since March!!!
On behalf of Mal And myself I would like to congratulate both Barry and Vicki on their golfing achievements and thank them both for placing their trust in their local professionals. They both worked hard and placed their trust in me and my prescription for the golf games. Sometimes a little pain reaps great rewards. We take pride in our services and want only the best for your golfing needs.
