CAPTAIN PETE

I am sure so many of you want to know what happened to Captain Ron!!?? He disappeared a short while ago, but turned up in Steve's Email box! He has gone fishing and travelling the continent.

Since Ron Newton took off for his Australian adventure, the position of Club Captain was vacant - until Peter Cahill answered the call!!

Peter has been a member at Nambour Golf Club since 2006. Prior to this he had been a member of Golf Club in Central Queensland, and there gained experience in the role of Club Captain. This year he was a member of the Senior Pennant team.

Peter has no illusions about the magnitude of the role here, recognises he has much to learn but is also looking forward to the challenge. Advice from members will be welcome (we have a few who are always know how things should be done!).

So please welcome Peter to this important position, and offer your help and advice when needed.

Sponsors Mal's On Course Golf Shop (20th year) and Halcyon Landing must have been pleased with the day's turnout.
