All For a Good Cause

Players do their bit for the cause.

Gravel has done it again! He has managed to secure tremendous support from some local businesses, and through his inimitable manner has also secured a couple of pieces of memorabilia not to miss. All these items go into a raffle to raise funds for Breast Cancer research.

The major sponsor has contributed heaps of useful and desirable electrical appliances for the home. Thanks must go to Whelans Betta Electrical for their magnanimous contribution. Much of the credit for securing this huge donation goes to Gary Langford from Day & Grimes Real Estate. Thanks Gary!

Day & Grimes Real Estate are the major sponsors for the Pennant teams from NGC. They have sponsored us to the tune of $1000, which has been put towards the purchase of the pink shirts. Their logo emroidered on these shirts is now proudly worn by each NGC Pennant player.

Gravel obtained Peter Lonard’s glove, and a Coolum Classic T-shirt, each with collectable signatures. Both  the glove and the shirt are mounted and framed ready to hang in your den or bar.

Tickets are now readily available from the clubhouse for just $2 each.

The Pennant teams are wearing pink shirts this year. That is to raise awareness of Breast Cancer. Proceeds from the raffle are going to Breast Cancer Research. So any money you spend is going to a well-recognized cause.
