We made the Finals!
Our Ladies are in the Grade 2 Pennant Finals
The pennant team of Jean Hoolihan, Del Scott, Cal. Roberts, Julie Cove & Jenny Brett (pictured) and Thelma Burns played so well all season to warrant their chance to contest the final of the North Coast Zone Grade 2 Pennants. Our Ladies Team played off against Beerwah at a neutral venue, Tewantin Noosa, only to go down 3 matches to 2. But it counts on the one day, and Beerwah was the successful team. Congrats to Beerwah, but also to our ladies’ team for their efforts and sucesses over the pennant season.

Clem Sutherland who is the North Coast Zone Ladies President presented the trophies to our team of runners-up. The girls looked pleased with themselves, and so they should, as it was no mean feat to have this shot at the the 2008 Pennant Flag!
