Head Professional - Mal Wilson
Our own touring Pro
M
al Wilson served his apprenticeship under Darryl Welch (a Queenslander) at the Australia Golf Club in Sydney. Mal arrived at NGC in October 1992, after a successful start to his career as the professional at Griffith Golf Club.
Mal lives in Nambour with his family - wife Nerroille and two sons Chris and Thomas. You will often see Nerroille at work in the proshop, as her forte is shop display design.
Besides his great support for our club, through his sponsorship of so many events, managing the competition fields and providing guidance and leadership for our Junior Pennants, Mal loves nothing better than to teach. He has an uncanny ability to spot swing anomolies and suggest corrections. Why not have a lesson now and see your handicap improve!
The 2010 Mens Four Ball Match Play (Frank DeVere Memorial) is well under way, with this round determining quarter final teams. Most of the matches so far have been quite close, with winning margins surprisingly small - handicaps must be accurate?
YES - Nambour has been measured!! Mal has these little beauties on sale NOW!
We all know you cannot ground your club in the bunker.
So now that my new handicap is in play, what happens when I play my next game?
Need to refer back to a ruling given in a past month?
