Raising funds for a good cause
Rohan Briggs, guided by Matt Lynch, putts out on his 63rd hole during their Marathon Golf Day to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The boys, both pennant players from the last two years, walked all the way, with caddy Bronwyn on the support cart (obviously a dedicated partner!). The 72 holes played measured over 22 km, and took over 11 hours to walk.
The boys are yet to finalise the funds collected, but to date over $500 swells their can, with a further dollar for dollar pledged by Rohann's work, Sullivan Nicolaides.
Well done team!
