GOLF CARTS ARE OFF
Currently, and until further notice, golf carts are OFF today due to the prevailing wet and dangerous conditions. Decision made 8.00 a.m. Wednesday 11th August.
This decision will be reviewed again at 7.00am Thursday Morning If uncertain, contact the Pro Shop on 5441 4413.
Due to extremely wet conditions, and the nature of our terrain at NGC, we need to consider:
- your safety. Wet downslopes can be extremely dangerous for carts, leading to some nasty accidents.
- the protection of your course. Carts experience many difficulties on the upslopes and in the low lying wet areas, and can cause extensive damage to the course.
For your protection and the protection of our course, it is necessary to prohibit the use of motorised buggies on the course during certain periods.
The 2010 Mens Four Ball Match Play (Frank DeVere Memorial) is well under way, with this round determining quarter final teams. Most of the matches so far have been quite close, with winning margins surprisingly small - handicaps must be accurate?
YES - Nambour has been measured!! Mal has these little beauties on sale NOW!
We all know you cannot ground your club in the bunker.
So now that my new handicap is in play, what happens when I play my next game?
Need to refer back to a ruling given in a past month?
