We pay tribute to our Diggers!

Another big Day out to celebrate our Diggers' service to their country.

ANZAC Shield, eligible to all members who have served in any Allied country’s permanent militaryforce, including conscripts, was won by Ray Madsen.

Any serviceman from the Australian or New Zealand military forces who served in WW2, Korea or Vietnam is eligible for the Diggers Cup. This was again won by John Coppleman

The competition on the day is a single stroke, but both the shield and the cup are awarded to best nett scores in each of the special competitions for the day.

Note that of your competition fees of $10 on the day, $3.50 is donated to Legacy.

     Even though the Ladies Masters is being run at Royal Pines, you can join us for this, our first competition day for the new year.

    Ladies Open Day on Thursday 5 February will be  a Single Stableford.

Vale Jim Lynch

Our longest financial member, Jim Lynch, passed away on the weekend after his battle with cancer.

His service will be held at 10.00 a.m. on Wednesday 07 December. It will be held at the Infant of Prague Church, 25-28 Toral Drive Buderim (off Stringybark Road).

I am sure many long-term and older members will wish to attend his commemorative service.
