    ITS PENNANT TIME AGAIN

    We have an A Grade, a B Grade, a Seniors and a Junior team in the Zone Pennant Competition for 2010.

    We also run with two grades of Ladies Weekday Match Play Pennants and a Ladies Weekend Match Play Pennant team.

    HANDICAPPING PACKAGE RELEASED SOON

    "We now wish to confirm that the first package of changes will NOT become effective on 1 February 2010," said Simon Magdulski, Manager of Rules and Handicapping, GA.

                                   IT WILL NOW BE  RELEASED ON APRIL 9.

    VISITORS OWN CARTS @ HORTON PARK

    Horton Park Golf Club has implemented a new policy for visitors wishing to use their own motorised golf cart on their course. This came into effect on 01 February 2010.

    The following rule applies:

    Visitors will be unable to bring their own cart if our Proshop has motorised carts  available - please contact the H.P Proshop on 54432597 to confirm

    If you do use your own cart, an appropriate third party policy must be current and available on request.

    We were again blessed on the day of the Annual General Meeting to have all our current Life Members in attendance. It was great to see all four in the one spot again, as not all are still active as golfers at NGC.

  • GOLF CARTS ARE OFF   18 Mar '10

    Currently, and until further notice, golf carts are OFF due to the prevailing wet and dangerous conditions. Decision made 9.00 a.m. Wednesday 17 March.

    This decision is reviewed daily at 6.30 a.m. If uncertain, contact the Pro Shop on 5441 4413.

    When conditions indicate a change to this advice, this web site will be updated at 9.00 a.m.

    MEMBERS IF YOU ARE NOT RECEIVING REGULAR EMAILS PLEASE CONTACT THE CLUB.

  • CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS   18 Mar '10

    Match Committee met at 10.00 a.m. on Wednesday 17 March to review the conduct of our championships for 2010.

    The decision reached is to abandon the holding of these championships in March – April, and to transfer them to four weekends in October.

LAUNCHING NEW HANDICAPPING SYSTEMS

Finally - yesterday, G.A. announced that the first package of changes to our Australian Handicapping system will take effect at 9.00 a.m. (AEST) on Friday 9 April, 2010.
